Founder Robert Hess to Visit Charleston During 6,554 Mile Journey Honoring America's 250th Anniversary
CHARLESTON, S.C. - SCaroNews -- Rally4Vets, the flagship program of the Disabled Veteran Empowerment Network (DVEN), will arrive in Charleston on July 7, as founder and decorated Vietnam veteran Robert Hess continues the Rally4Vets America Grand Tour, a 37 day, 6,554 mile journey across 16 states commemorating America's 250th anniversary.
Robert will be in Charleston through July 9, meeting with veterans, community members, and supporters while continuing Rally4Vets' mission of raising awareness for veteran mental health, connecting veterans with resources, and supporting service dog programs for veterans living with PTSD and other invisible wounds.
Charleston serves as one of the nation's most historically significant destinations during America's 250th anniversary, having played a pivotal role in the American Revolution. As one of South Carolina's official SC250 Signature Cities, Charleston continues to commemorate the people, places, and events that helped shape the nation's founding. Robert's visit offers an opportunity to connect that history with the service and sacrifice of today's veterans.

Throughout his stay, Robert welcomes opportunities to meet with local veterans, community organizations, and residents while honoring those who have served our country. He is available for in person, phone, and virtual interviews.
The America Grand Tour has already generated media coverage across multiple states, including a feature by NBC Montana during Robert's recent stop in Bozeman. The interview highlighted Rally4Vets' mission and Robert's cross country journey to honor veterans during America's 250th anniversary.
