MURRELLS INLET, S.C. - SCaroNews -- Angwin Academy is proud to partner with a new non profit organization dedicated to supporting Wachesaw Academy. This foundation is specifically designed to provide scholarships and financial assistance, ensuring that high-quality, personalized education remains accessible to families throughout the Murrells Inlet community.
To celebrate this milestone and the growth of the MicroSchool, Wachesaw Academy is offering a $2,000 scholarship to each of the first five students who register and are accepted for the upcoming term. This initiative highlights the academy's commitment to fostering a local environment where students can thrive academically and creatively.
"We believe that financial barriers should not stand in the way of a student's potential," said Michelle Glenn, Director of Operations. "The launch of this non-profit allows us to deepen our roots in Murrells Inlet and provide tangible support to families looking for a specialized, community-focused educational experience."

In coordination with this launch, Wachesaw Academy will host a MicroSchool Open House on April 17 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Families are invited to tour the facility, meet with educators, and learn more about the unique curriculum that blends academic rigor with flexible learning tracks.
Registration for the MicroSchool is currently open, but capacity is limited to maintain small class sizes and personalized attention. Families are encouraged to visit the campus during the Open House to secure their spot and apply for the inaugural scholarship opportunities.
