Tiny Steps Foundation brings together families, community partners, and essential baby resources to support parents and infants across the Pee Dee region.
MARION, S.C. - SCaroNews -- Marion, SC — Tiny Steps Foundation is proud to host a Community Baby Shower for expecting parents and families with young children in the Pee Dee region. The event will take place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Marion Opera House, located at 109 E. Godbold Street in Marion, South Carolina.
This special event is designed to support families who are pregnant or parenting children ages 0–4 by providing essential baby items, helpful resources, and connections to local organizations that support maternal and early childhood health.
Attendees will receive access to baby essentials such as diapers, wipes, and other infant supplies while learning about community services that support healthy families and early childhood development. The event will also feature opportunities for families to connect with local organizations, healthcare providers, and community partners who are dedicated to supporting parents and babies in the region.

Tiny Steps Foundation currently serves more than 136 families each month through its diaper distribution and family support programs across the Pee Dee region. Diaper insecurity affects nearly 1 in 2 families, and because many childcare centers require parents to provide diapers, families without them often face barriers to daycare and employment. Events like the Community Baby Shower help reduce stress for families while ensuring babies have the essentials they need for a healthy start.
"Our goal is to surround families with support during one of the most important seasons of their lives," said Tiny Steps Foundation leadership. "By bringing the community together, we can make sure parents feel encouraged, supported, and equipped with the essentials they need to care for their babies."
Tiny Steps Foundation invites local organizations, businesses, and community members to partner, volunteer, or support the event as sponsors to help expand resources available to families.
Families who are pregnant or parenting children ages 0–4 are encouraged to attend and share the event with others who may benefit.
