CHARLESTON, S.C. - SCaroNews -- HDOnTap, in partnership with the Dataw Island Conservancy, announces the return of the Dataw Island Eagles Live Cam for the 2025–2026 nesting season.

Perched high in a pine tree on Saint Helena Island, the live-streaming camera provides viewers a front-row seat to a pair of resident bald eagles as they prepare their nest and raise eaglets in the months ahead. This is the second season the camera will stream, offering wildlife fans and educators alike the chance to watch these iconic raptors in real time.

"We are excited to bring back the Dataw Island Eagles Cam for a second season. The community response last year was incredible, and we look forward to sharing the journey of these bald eagles once again with viewers around the world."

The PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) camera, equipped with infrared night vision and streaming in 4MP resolution, is mounted directly in the nest tree. It captures sweeping daytime views of the nest, as well as intimate close-ups of eagle behavior both day and night.

The project is made possible through the partnership between HDOnTap and the Dataw Island Conservancy, an organization dedicated to preserving the island's rich natural habitats and fostering environmental education.
